Bulldog-3D Colour-Fade PLA Filament — Made in the UK
No two spools are the same. Bulldog-3D Colour-Fade PLA is a unique by-product of our UK manufacturing process, created naturally when transitioning between colours on our extrusion line. The result is a one-of-a-kind filament with colour characteristics that cannot be planned, predicted or replicated.
Each pack contains three randomly selected 1kg spools, providing 3kg of 1.75mm PLA filament in total. Colours and transitions cannot be selected, and product photographs are examples only.
The story behind the fade
When we switch colours during production, something beautiful happens. The outgoing colour blends into the incoming one—sometimes a bold colour fading to clear, sometimes clear blooming into colour, and sometimes two shades merging into something entirely their own.
Occasionally, a colour is still finding its full saturation, producing a softer, more muted tone with its own character. Rather than waste this perfectly usable filament, we spool it up and pass it on. Every spool is genuinely unique.
